About Water's Edge Campground

Located on Johnson's Pond, a seven mile long lake in Coventry, RI, Water's Edge Campground also abuts the New England Greenway Bike Path. The Bike Path is a developing 3,000 mile long trail that will span from Canada to Key West, Florida. 47 percent of the Rhode Island path is finished.

Johnson's Pond along with allowing all types of boats and boating activities has many special events such as a big 4th of July firework display, an annual water ski show, and several water front concerts. Anchor your boat and enjoy the music.

Wakeboarding Magazine named Johnson's Pond as the best spot in Rhode island for wakeboarding. Personal watercraft are allowed at Johnson's Pond even though they are banned at some other local water bodies. Water skiing is popular here due to the elongated shape of the reservoir, with tubing, power boating and sailing available.
